Dover Shores was originally developed in the 1950’s and consists of 310 single family custom homes. Of the
310 homes 73 of the homes are bayfront homes with either private or shared docks or slips. Dover Shores is
considered any home that has a water view or that is on the water. The community is made up of several different
neighborhoods, including Harbor Highlands 1 & 2, Baycrest South and Baycrest North and Westcliff. These
neighborhoods consist of roughly 1500 single family homes. The Westcliff Grove community was developed in the
early 1970’s. The Castaways, developed by Taylor Woodrow, is a gated community that was created in 1997 and
has 119 homes.

Newport Heights / Cliffhaven

One of the oldest neighborhoods in Newport Beach, Newport Heights was once referred to as Mackrel Flats in the 1930’s and 1940’s. In 1906 the first oil wells were drilled just south of the current high school. Cliffhaven and Newport Heights provide a true sense of community with residents who know their neighbors. Visitors will see children playing outside, people strolling or biking the area or relaxing in the park. With schools, churches and amenities nearby, the neighborhood lends itself to a cohesive, almost idylilic lifestyle.

Santa Ana Heights – Newport Beach

Santa Ana Heights is a community in Orange County. The eastern part is located within the city limits of Newport Beach while the western part is in an unincorporated area. The unincorporated part of Santa Ana Heights has been a subject of an annexation debate between Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. It is currently included in the city of Costa Mesa’s “sphere of influence”, which is expected to change to Newport Beach’s sphere of influence as the annexation process furthers.

Harbor View Homes

Harbor View Homes was designed with 3 phases and 1200 homes that were developed in the late 1960s. the original developer was Donald Bren and he designed the community around 6 different models. The homes originally sold for approximately $30,000. Today Harbor View Homes is laced with custom homes, remodeled homes and original homes.
